WHY SOME OF OUR DJs COST MORE THAN OTHERS

A client recently asked this question after I sent an email back with quotes for our available DJs and the list of everything included in the quotes.

The main drivers in price difference between our DJs are their overall experience with gigs and their demand.

Most of our DJs are extremely experienced. As a matter of fact, we only have one DJ on our roster (out of 9) who’s been playing out for less than ten years. I highly doubt you’ll find that level of experience at almost any other DJ company in the region.

Some of our DJs are in higher demand for certain types of events. For instance, we have a few specific DJs who clients reach out to us more about weddings because they’ve been playing weddings for many years and referrals come in for them every week.

Some of our DJs have really bumped up their social media presence and clients have been seeking them out because of the visuals from their gigs that they’ve provided online.

And lastly, many of our DJs play out all over the city (and the region) week after week and TONS of potential clients reach out to us to book them after they see them playing at a bar, club or private event.

When I started the agency, I handpicked all of the DJs I wanted to work with because I had personally played with all of them out and saw their talent.  Also, they were all easy to work with, talk to and get along with.

I have been working with most of them for over fifteen years.  They are all incredibly knowledgeable about music, know how to read a room, and can play any style and formats you and your crowd throw at them.
